We had to get up early this morning for our IUI today, so had my alarm set for 5:26am. We got to bed around 11 and I was already tired from this long emotionally exhausting week.
I fell asleep pretty fast, and was very disappointed when I woke up before my alarm.
I looked at the clock and it was 5:18. I figured I should just get up – get an early “take my time” start to my day – So I got a drink, dilly dollied around, then decided to take a shower when I looked a the clock and realized it was only 2:30am!!! Am I dyslexic or just over tired!?!?! eek! It took me forever to get back to sleep after that!
Then when K woke up he asked if I remembered what I did to him in my sleep – I had no idea what he was talking about. He said that I reached over and started feeling all around and hitting his face – he woke up and asked what I was doing and I said “I am looking for the sperm” tee hee – oh dear.
The IUI went really well today – the best and most painless yet. Still uncomfortable, but not painful. The nurse was really nice, positive and energetic. K and I laughed and joked around a lot today during the “table time”.
So here is hoping!!! I start the progesterone suppositories tomorrow. They are NO FUN! They make me feel over emotional and slightly crazy – and leave my “downstairs” feeling itchy and gooey all day…gross.
Today it is a dark rainy cozy day! I am SO THANKFUL that I get to stay home today. I am watching my friend’s baby for the morning (yay for baby cuddles) and doing house work, laundry, dinner, etc in the afternoon. I love being home when it is raining and stormy. The house is dimly lit with lamps – and a candle…sigh. I think I will go make a tea…

I can't believe you did that in your sleep!! That is a really funny story that you will definitely laugh about someday if not already. And a shower at 2:30 AM? whew that is rough. I had to laugh that you set your alarm for 5:26 AM (so exact!!).
