so far so good

My 1st appointment went well – not too much to say about it. I had to go to the main clinic in Mississauga, because the one I usually go to is closed on Sundays.

The Burlington clinic is so much better. It’s a lot smaller, so they only have one nurse, one ultrasound technician 2 receptionists, and lab nurse. They all know me by name and are so nice and friendly. When I have to wait (and it’s not busy) I can usually have a great chat with the receptionist – a much nicer experience than a big clinic!

I’ve started all my injections. This is my first 5 day supply...



and this is one dose that I have to take right now - it will last 4 days - then I will take one a day...




So far I haven’t had bad side effects. I feel a little tired and my stomach is tender and bruised. I haven’t had bad headaches like I’ve had on other drugs – which I am so thankful for! The only other unusual thing that happened is – I think I had 2 hot flashes! I’ve never experienced a hot flash before, but I am sure that is what it was. I was suddenly SO HOT and felt weak in my legs. It lasted less than 2 mins – then I was back to normal (and kind of a little cold) weird.

I had my second appointment yesterday – my follicles are growing – but the doctor decided to up my dose of Puregon from 75mg to 100mg.
Tomorrow is appointment number 3 – so we’ll see how things are progressing.
